What We Put In (and Leave Out)
At Beessential, every ingredient earns its place. We start with honey and beeswax from trusted beekeepers, then build around them with plant-based oils, gentle cleansers, moisturizing butters, aloe, and naturally derived botanicals.
Our Ingredient Philosophy
We make everyday skincare, haircare, soaps, creams, and lip balms with ingredients chosen for a reason. Our goal is simple: clean ingredients, real results, and products that feel good enough for daily use by our own family.
What We Avoid
Beessential products are made without harsh sulfates such as SLS or SLES. We also avoid parabens and unnecessary synthetic dyes. Instead, we focus on gentle cleansing systems, nourishing oils, bee-inspired ingredients, and formulas that support comfortable skin and hair.
Honey, Beeswax, and Bee-Derived Ingredients
Many Beessential products include honey, beeswax, or propolis. These ingredients are part of our story and help give our products their nourishing, protective feel. Because they are bee-derived, not every Beessential product is vegan. Strict vegan customers should review each product label before purchasing.
Botanical Oils, Butters, and Aloe
Our formulas may include ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, hemp seed oil, avocado oil, shea butter, cupuacu butter, aloe, sea buckthorn oil, and essential oils. Each product label lists its specific ingredients so customers can choose what fits their routine.
Fragrance and Essential Oil Notes
Some products are scented with essential oils, while others are unscented or fragrance-free. If your skin is very sensitive, if you are scent-sensitive, or if you are shopping during pregnancy, start with unscented products when possible and patch test first.
Gluten and Allergen Notes
Some Beessential products may contain gluten-derived ingredients, including wheat proteins in haircare and oat or wheat ingredients in certain bar soaps. Beessential does not manufacture in a certified gluten-free facility, so cross-contact may be possible. Customers with Celiac Disease, severe gluten sensitivity, or serious allergies should review labels carefully and consult a healthcare professional when needed.
Pregnancy, Children, and Sensitive Skin
Natural skincare should still be chosen thoughtfully. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, children, allergies, eczema, and sensitive skin can all change what makes sense for a routine. We recommend checking ingredient lists, patch testing new products, and asking a healthcare professional when a product decision is higher-stakes.
Shelf Life and Storage
Most Beessential products have a recommended shelf life of about two years. Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Replace products if scent, texture, or appearance changes.
