About Beessential

 

Around 20 years ago, I gave permission to a colleague to place a beehive on my family farm. Initially, I had no intention of taking care of it, but when my co-worker was unable to tend to it due to personal reasons, I became a beekeeper. I found the science and culture surrounding bees to be fascinating, and I began to research and attend workshops at The Ohio State University agricultural campus. Apart from enjoying the science, I found that taking care of the bees gave me time to reflect, and it became a therapeutic activity for me. I also realized how interconnected the bees' world is with ours - any changes in our environment can have an impact on their environment. This made me think about the food we eat, the chemicals we use, and how these factors affect both bees and humans. This is when I had the idea to create natural skincare and hair products using honey, beeswax, and other good ingredients that are beneficial for both us and our environment. This is the philosophy behind Beessential. Today, my family and I produce a complete range of natural products, including lip balm, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, that help our customers naturally maintain healthy skin and hair. All of our products are made in the USA!
